The Church of God Seventh Day has been running various projects which include spreading the gospel to various countries where new branches have been founded but they lack finances for upkeep. Through the church, we have been sponsoring most of these new branches to help them get on their feet. This, however, has been quite challenging since we rely on our church members and well-wishers to support such projects.
We have sometimes run out of finances despite our strong desire to constantly help. We strongly believe with your help towards the numerous projects we will reach more people who are in dire need of help.
If you are looking to make an even bigger impact than just giving your tithe, the church has various projects that are geared towards helping needy church members and non-church members. We have always strived to ensure needy children and widows have at least basic needs taken care of.
Remember, when you give, you are tangibly making a difference in someone’s life: marriages are restored, lives are healed, and people meet Yahshuah.
Tithing is our starting place in giving. The Bible teaches us a baseline standard for giving: the tithe, which means a tenth. When we give the first 10% of our income through the local church, we put God first in our lives.
God also encourages us to give offerings beyond our tithe to specific church projects and other noble causes.
